In the past weeks the ACIDLOOP project has been covered in serveral media articles:


The workshops and company visits which took place during 2013 were subject of an article of the News Bulletin of the Mohali Industries Association (MIA). In the News Bulletin the introductory workshop is covered which took place in Mohali in August 2013. The article can be accessed here.


Another article on the ACIDLOOP project appeared in a local newspaper in Aurangabad. The article talks about the workshops conducted in the city and can be downloaded here.


Media coverage on the ACIDLOOP project also happened internationally. The German journal on galvanising "Galvanotechnik" presented the ACIDLOOP project approach in its 2013 September issue. The article (in German) can be accessed here.



ACIDLOOP is a 4-year project (2012-2016) supported by the European Union (EU) under the SWITCH Asia Programme. This programme emphasizes sustainable consumption and production in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). ACIDLOOP is targeted specifically at the Indian metal finishing industry.  It aims to introduce technology innovation for acid recovery as well as resource efficiency that would lead to improved environmental quality and combat pollution.  The activities is taking place in various locations in northern, western and southern India.
